I put my reusable bag down. 'Unexpected item!' I scan a box of pasta and set it down softly. 'Item removed from bagging area!' I literally haven't moved my hands. Now I have to stand there like a child waiting for the overworked attendant to tap their supervisor card so I can buy my three items.
